I’m a Christian, Pastor, Husband, Father, Nerd, and Jayhawks fan.

I’m not always right, and sometimes that’s hard for me to admit. I’m not always as loving as I ought to be. Christ still has a lot of work to do in me.

For that reason, I have left years of posts (some better than others) online. The further back you go, the more likely they are to be chock full of pride, errors, and or opinions I no longer hold. Hopefully as I continue to grow and mature, so will my thoughts, beliefs, and means of expressing them. In the meantime, know me. Know that I have never been perfect before, and will only become so on the other side of death. No point in hiding who I was: Jesus is making me into who He wants me to be, and this blog’s history should well enough prove that it isn’t my doing!

A lot of what is here is solution to technical problems I found, for the reference of those facing similar problems. Some of it is theological musings or arguments. Other stuff is…well, other stuff. Normally they say that a blog ought to be focused, but that’s for people trying to gain a following, and I’m not trying to build a brand or garner a big following. Instead, I hope each post can serve as a reference for somebody, at some time, who’s searching for whatever it is that post is about. If you happen to poke around a bit and find something else interesting to read, good for you. If not…I’ll see you again next time you’re searching for something I’m writing about.
