I can't imagine ever being so attached to one religion, one way of looking at the world, that it would lead me to judge people's private lives to such an extent. I understand christianity can be a valuable source of individual inspiration. It is an inspiration to me as-well as several other religious teachings, science and the arts. In my view religion has the tendency to become destructive when one does not treat it as a personal guide to shape your life but also a guide to judge the lives of others.

I have several gay and lesbian friends that have a sincere and true love for one another. To suggest that they are practicing a mortal sin leaves me near speechless. What gives you the moral authority? The self-righteousness, the arrogance? Those are sins in my book.

I suggest you study more than one book. It just might open up a beautiful world of nuance.

I thought I explained myself pretty clearly, but there it is. If God calls homosexual behavior wrong (and I believe the Bible to be God's Word, so I believe this to be the case), then I must also call homosexual behavior wrong. I won't hate anyone for being gay, I won't intentionally treat them any worse than anyone else in the world (we're all sinners), but I will be heard on this issue: in God's eyes, homosexual relations are not an acceptable demonstration of love. If some guy thought killing people was an appropriate way to express his love for them, I would tell him he was wrong (granted, that's a bit hyperbolic, but actions can't simply be justified by saying they were done out of love).

Maybe you should stick to reviewing alkaline batteries and Mario games instead of having moral judgement on how other people wish to love one another...

p.s. Luigi is so gay... Maybe you shouldn't be playing these morally despicable games..
