I also didn't talk about USB ports, or keyboards. They've all got integrated wireless, and that's about the end of the story. I don't need blistering speed (pirating in general is not a good idea, and much less so at seminary), so the included 802.11g in all these guys would be sufficient. (Also, since I already own an .11g router, I probably won't be upgrading to .11n within the lifetime of this laptop)

The one thing I neglected to mention is that the MacBook doesn't have an ExpressCard slot, so that means much more limited "extras" action (such as Edge or EVDO cards). (the other two do)

As far as plugging in a camera goes, it's no big deal, and it's what I currently do. It's easier without having to worry about keeping your cable somewhere handy, but isn't really going to affect the decision at all.

You didn't talk at all about wireless??? That should be a big deal I would think. As a student you will want to be connected when on campus and out studying. Also, I don't know much about card readers, but it only takes a second to plug a camer into a laptop

Ah, yes, you can get a MacBook with a DVD burner, but not with the base level processor. (ie, you have to spend at least an extra $200 to get a DVD burner)

Few ideas.
First, I burn DVD's on my MacBook. It is a little slow, but can burn most any format.
Second, There are a bunch of Mac refrebs for under $900. For someone who likes getting up at 1:00 am it should be easy to catch the early releases.
