Lately I’ve been having an absolute blast learning how to use MySQL and PHP to create this new, funky website. If you haven’t noticed, as long as you have cookies enabled, you should see two links in the bubble bar that allow you to choose the color and background of this page.
The setup I’ve got running here also allows me to keep the website updated very easily from an administrative back end that I also created. I really wish I could show you, (because it’s so sweet) but then I’d have everyone and their dog turning my domain into the next geocities. Ugh.
Now the challenge will just be creating content that is actually worth reading. Hm. Yuck.

I know a lot of people who love macs. Funny thing is, they’re always telling me that I need to get a mac. That I need Safari, that Windows sucks, that they don’t get viruses, etc. (Me? I’m just careful not to install crapware, and I’m OK too)
Actually, come to think of it, they don’t love macs–they are obsessed with macs. In fact, if you use a PC (or, worse yet, <gasp> enjoy using a PC) then you’re an idiot. No, not just an idiot. An uncultured, naive little fool who has broken down and succumbed to the Microsoft monopoly.
Give me a friggin break.
Honestly, I HATE having this same argument every day of the week!
OK, you can like macs and be my friend. But please, don’t let your mac love spread loads of hate. I “know” that Fords suck, Pontiac is the worst make to buy (in the world), and Aldi groceries are sub-par. I know that my Target jeans are not as trendy, my iPod mini is dated, and no one listens to DC Talk any more.
But I choose not to spend $2,500 on a MacBook Pro. Can you forgive me for that? Half the time I want to buy an old IIgs just so I can say that I own a mac and you’ll leave me alone.
Anyone else feel me?
(in case you were wondering, I use FireFox, not IE. I’m not completely troglodito.)
